Skin type and age:
What is Placenta?
Placenta extract contains abundant amount of FGF (fibroblast growth factor), which stimulates three building blocks of the skin: collagen, the plump part of the skin; elastin, the tight and firm part of the skin; and hyaluronic acid, which keeps the skin hydrated and smooth. Placenta also inactivates Tyrosinase, a key enzyme that converts tyrosine to DOPA. (DOPA is converted to melanin.) That is why placenta extract contributes to fair and clear skin.
Skin cells regenerate from the bottom up. Older cells are pushed upwards till they die and fall off. The turnover time is roughly one month, however it slows down as we age.
When turnover is slow, sun damage is more likely to leave unsightly blotches. Older skin cells stay longer making the skin look dull and rough.
Because of its ability to speed turnover, placenta is known to brighten the skin and effectively reduce blemishes, dullness, and acne scars.
How to use
After a face wash, take out and unfold the mask (easy to unfold with the ears), and place it first around the eyes and mouth and then firmly attach it on the whole face (caution for the drip). Then take off the mask after 10~15 minutes and apply well the remaining beauty essence on the skin by hand. Do not rinse. Use it approximately1~2 times a week.
